MAXUS is leading the charge in the commercial electric vehicle sector offering outstanding performance, superb reliability and a range that always goes the extra mile!

EVROS is made for MAXUS and this important and exciting event will highlight just how integral EVs are to commercial fleets and the commercial vehicle sector. “More than half of all our commercial vehicle sales are now electric, so spotting an EV van
on the road is no longer a novelty,” said Mark Barrett, general manager of Harris MAXUS.

“It’s very much the norm to see EV vans making supermarket and courier deliveries, carrying pharmaceuticals or chilled foods and dropping off flowers or postal deliveries. Advances in technology and battery range mean there’s an EV van for every journey and making the switch will help to future proof your fleet and contribute to the evolution of greener motoring.”

Launched in 2020 and designed from the ground-up for electric power only, the MAXUS e DELIVER 3, with a range of up to 213 miles on a single charge, is playing its part in helping future proof fleets across Scotland and in tackling range anxiety. It was the perfect choice for EVROS and was selected by the event organisers to shift rally kit and equipment around
the 1,234 electric mile course.

Available in a number of variants and wheelbase options, the e DELIVER 3 is a fantastically versatile vehicle that suits a wide range of business needs. Available in a 35Kw or 52.5Kw battery configuration with a 90KW /250Nm motor, the e DELIVER 3 is cleverly designed to maximise payload and performance, ED9 large 3500kg panel van @72kw and  88.5Kw with up to 219 range and the ED3 Dropside tipper with 800kg payload and a range of up to 200 miles all featuring  in the EVROS rally.

Using a combination of lightweight materials such as aluminium and polymer composite materials, the nifty EV is robust in design and powerful in performance. Using a DC rapid charger can top up the batteries to 80% in as little as 40 minutes so the 1,200+ e-tour of Scotland is really just a run-of-the-mill week for the dynamic e DELIVER 3!

MAXUS recently announced the introduction of its bespoke Intelligence Onboard Solution, which provides data driven insights into key areas such as state of charge, energy used, energy cost, charging data and improved range. MAXUS Intelligence Onboard will allow EV fleets to better optimise and monitor their vehicles to ensure they are operating productively, and is just another step in MAXUS’ journey to continually go the extra mile for customers.

MAXUS is manufactured by SAIC, the largest automotive company in China and a global leader in the technical revolution, leading the way in the development of new technology and solutions for the automotive industry.
